London--Day 1

LONDON. I cannot express. Words do not come. It was such an alive city in so many ways. The people were rude and inconsiderate because they all had somewhere to be and something to do. There was always traffic because the cars, busses, and taxis had to get people to their dates and events. The restaurants were always busy because no one wanted to stay home and cook. EVERYONE wants to be in the middle of the Christmas lights, the decorated streets, the adorned squares, the festive markets. The city was ALIVE in a way I've never seen a city, not even Dublin. I saw so many beautiful sights, but I have to go in order. Day 1 consisted mostly of touring West End--Picadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Carnaby, Liberty London (London's oldest department store), and more. We also walked around King's Cross and St. Pancras train stations, including Platform 9 3/4. It was relaxed, chill, enjoyable. And here it is!
